Our probate services range from full-service to limited assistance. We can handle the entire estate, from opening to closing. If you feel confident about the process and just need some specific help, we can limit our assistance to opening the estate, obtaining a tax ID number, publish a notice to creditors, prepare an estate inventory, and prepare the accounts required by the court. In most cases, this will not even require you to go to the courthouse because we can handle everything on your behalf. 

Pricing for probate services depends on your needs and the complexity of the estate, but in most cases, our probate representation costs less than $2,000 and can typically be paid out of estate funds. 

It's not easy to think about, but planning for your estate through a power of attorney, an advance directive, and a will is incredibly important. Guardianship is an important legal tool for caregivers who are helping a loved one with cognitive impairments, dementia, and Alzheimer's. We can handle all aspects of a guardianship petition to have the court declare a need for a guardian and appoint a trusted guardian; help to create an inventory of the person's assets as required by the court, and complete yearly inventory reports that must by filed once the guardianship is established.

Perhaps you have loved one who is currently in need of skilled nursing care or needs to move to an assisted living facility, but they have limited assets.
